One of our most significant achievements in recent years was the establishment of the CTBC Women’s Network (WoN). This major milestone has been driven by the dedication of CTBC founding and current Board Member Zahide Sezerman of OZ Optics and led by Board Member Nursel Atar of Legisterra. Founded in March 2024 with other four Women visionary community leaders, WoN has consistently organized impactful and well-attended events in the GTA, attracting nationwide participation and elevating the CTBC’s visibility both regionally and nationally:

• Tech Summit (January 25, 2025) – Organized in collaboration with three partner organizations.
• WoN of a Kind Night (November 22, 2024) – A flagship networking and celebration event.
• WoN Panel: From Ideas to Impact (November 20, 2024) – Supporting entrepreneurial journeys.
• Technology Visit to MaRS Discovery District (June 22, 2024) – Fostering innovation and learning.
• WoN Technology Panel Discussion (June 20, 2024) – Exploring tech-driven opportunities and challenges.
• WoN Launch Event(March 8, 2024) – Brain storming session with Women leaders of our community

WoN continues to expand its reach across Canada, building connections and launching new CTBC WoN Chapters in Ottawa, Montreal, Atlantic Canada, and Alberta.
