The CTBC-hosted Business Forum brought together Canadian and Turkish firms involved in the automotive parts value chain, including in related advanced manufacturing sectors. Attended by over 200 persons this one-day event featured keynote speakers Flavio Volpe, President, Automotive Parts Manufacturers’ Association (APMA) and Raed Kadri, Head, Ontario Vehicle Innovation Network who spoke about past achievements and the vast potential of the automotive sector in Canada/Ontario. In addition to panels on such topics as: critical minerals essential for this quickly evolving industry, emerging technologies & cybersecurity challenges faced by advanced manufacturers, and available investment incentives in both Türkiye and Ontario, the Business Forum also highlighted Canadian Success Stories in the Turkish automotive sector from Magna International and Pontosense.
